SCHOOL HISTORY

The line “Through quality Education, we are building a better nation." has inspired the founders of Golden Faith Academy to put up an educational institution that would nurture the minds and hearts of young people towards love of God, country and family.

Golden Faith Academy was founded in 1998 by a couple who has great passion in education.

Mrs. Nenita F. Cao is an educator by profession and Atty. Carlos S. Cao Jr. is a lawyer, a college professor, a human resource practitioner and a public servant who served previously as Undersecretary of Labor/POEA.

In 1998, the school was started in a bungalow house of the couple located at Mt. Arayat Rd, Montevista Heights Taytay, Rizal. There were 28 pupils who composed the first batch of the preschool department.

In 2003, GFA was able to acquire 2 adjacent lots for the school which became the home of the Elementary Department.

In 2008, the GFA Special Education Department was established which was housed in a separate SPED center beside the Preschool and Elementary Building.

In 2010-2011, GFA once again acquired 3 adjacent lots in Mt. Banahaw Road where a 4 storey building for the High School Department was constructed. The GFA Extension Building has become a home to the first batch of High School classes.

In 2015, GFA has acquired another 5-story and 3-story buildings along Cabrera Road, Kaytikling Taytay. The buildings were renovated and became the home for Senior High School Department which was opened in 2016.

In 2017, GFA has been blessed with another property at L. Wood Rd. Taytay. This was renovated and was occupied by the Senior High School Department at the start of the School year 2019. The Junior High School department moved to the Cabrera-Towerhills Campus, while the GFA Campus in Montevista Heights fully housed the Preschool, Elementary, and SPED Department.

GFA is duly registered at the Securities and Exchange Commission as non-stock corporation. It has also passed the Private Education Assistance Committee (PEAC) requirement in 2015 issuing ESC grants to its students. It has acquired the Government Recognition for the Preschool and Elementary Departments in 2004 and the Government Recognition for the Junior High School Department in 2013. The Senior High School department operates with a Government Permit since 2015.
